Many times people will suffer a head injury and be diagnosed with having a concussion. A concussion is a very serious issue for the patient, for which the medical profession has no answer to. They simply observe the patient on a weekly or biweekly period of time and hope that the symptoms get better. First, I am a Chiropractic Physician and secondly I am a craniopath and well educated on cranial manipulation. Most people, including doctors do not realize that the cranium has a rhythm of expansion and contraction that occurs about 8 times per minute. This is called Primary Respiratory Mechanism. This movement is critical as it allows or promotes the circulation of the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). CSF brings vital nutrients to the brain and spinal cord. It also removes the metabolic waste that can become quite toxic if not removed and cause a crisis to for the body. After a concussion or a head injury severe enough to cause a concussion the cranium stops moving as it should. My success with concussions is excellent. I have seen patients who have suffered from the symptoms of concussions for as long as 3-4 months and after 1 week of treatment (usually 3 visits) the symptoms are completely gone. Once the head is moving as it should all symptoms of the concussion will be alleviated and the patient is left feeling quite well.
